Good Day Table + Tall Chair
The Good Day table and tall chair follow design cues of the Good Day lounge chair. The contrast between thick and thin exaggerated in the chaise lounge is more subtle in the chair. The seat extends forward from the crossbar to carry the entire weight of the user. The unbalanced seat and back hangs from the leg support structure creating an energetic shape that is clean and refined.
Similar to the chair, the table cantilevers beyond the legs to create a table top that appears suspended from the structural legs. To add interest the metal table is topped with a glass surface with a hole in the middle where the legs protrude from the bottom. Nested between the tops of the legs inside the glass hole is a piece of marble. The marble acts as a hot plate while also hiding a storage bin capable of storing the table place settings.
Suspended.
The massive one piece aluminum cast table floats above the cast aluminum legs that pierce the tabletop. The tabletop appears to be suspended from the leg structures similar to the Good Day lounge and tall chair.
Features.
Utilizing the space between the legs, the marble feature in the middle of the table is inlaid to the glass to create a trivet for hot serving dishes. Remove the marble piece and expose a shallow tray for storing place settings.
